Personal Info & Preferences:
Name: Cristina Stavenski
Title: Founder and senior managing partner of the Slow Planet
Give us a brief background of what you do.
The Slow Planet is the first integrated and inclusive community in the world for Slow. It aims to provide creative collaborative solutions to private entities, building rapport with the public organizations for a genuinely sustainable evolution of both – the human kind and the planet.
The broader vision of the community is to place together all the entities that produce innovative durable goods and services with their biggest supporters for an organic development of the global systems in the shortest time possible.
As the founder and the managing partner of the Slow Planet, my contribution is to build relationship capital from both private and public organizations. Our team actually helps them collaborate successfully in a capitalistic world making the innovative systems work for them, not against them.
What motivated you to launch a business?
Still nowadays with the entire technological breakthrough available worldwide, communication is the biggest issue. I am an innate communicator and decided to become the interface between the 2 main decisional structures (companies and the government) that speak different languages, even if they speak the same ethnical language. The time has come for SLOW to become faster.
Either we consider health, lifestyle, business or spirituality everything respects its cycles. We cannot influence them. The only thing we can influence is how we evolve within optimizing that cycle for the benefit of others, hence our business. If we choose to run after… we will always run the rat race. In that optic we might as well loose our financial wealth or worse – our health and family. In order to be in synchronicity with our rhythm and to be able to give in the best way to the people who surround us, we have to slow down, reflect on what we are doing right and what we are doing wrong, reassess the situation and get back on track faster than ever: energized with a clear mind and soul to reach for the stars. A sick mind and body will go nowhere. Beware and make sure you get the appropriate guidance in this matter, because you are the master of your own life and destiny!
If you are one of millions of people that are looking for a new way of living and doing business in a sustainable manner above generations, then the Slow Planet is THE community to give you that type of support. An example of the slow movement branch is themARTignz Boutique Hotel that I worked with for the past 2 years. It has a unique concept in the whole world on integration of people with learning disabilities that is 100% sustainable following a 360 degrees integration of the challenged society class.

What is your favourite quote and explain why?
“…in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.” Coach Jesus
There is no place for explanations as all it is already said. We have experienced wars and other disasters due to religious currents and interpretations of the sacred wisdom. Why interpret the obvious?

What does success mean to you?
Success means absolutely nothing to me. People’s smiles mean everything to me, as the true smile is the reflection of their soul. When someone smiles – for that instant you KNOW they are happy… and it becomes contagious.
What is your key to success?
Create value persistently + increase your relationship capital + believe in the transformational quality of your project = Changing Lives
