Interview

1. What does success mean to you?

Helping my clients get there, where they want to go.

2. Give us a brief background of what you do?

I help high performers to ease and flow in all areas of life.

I also teach efficient techniques, to deal with stress, sleeping problems and uneasiness in difficult situations.

3. What are the key factors that got you to where you are today?

Working on myself and my mindset constantly, finding out, where my blockages are, where I was standing in my own way. Then removing them and anything which was bothering me from my past. That got me into my inner balance and happiness. Then keeping the focus, not letting myself be distracted and giving only one thing the highest priority at work, knowing my goal, being in the moment and getting into flow when working on something all helps me achieve my goals.

And my well-being, which is crucial for everything I do, I find in sport, nature and self-hypnosis as a kind of meditation.

4. What is the key thing you want people to know about you?
I am a person who does not like to give up and I am a progressive thinker. So, when I work with clients, I make sure that they achieve the goal which they have set and even more. I realised that we have to constantly work on ourselves. I know ways to get people who are striving for more find to the core of themselves, so they start supporting themselves from the inside, which saves them a lot of time and energy and then leads to more happiness, satisfaction and better results.

I once was very close to a burnout. Going shopping or even walking to the letterbox to get the post was at that time a day’s struggle- I managed to get out of there by working on my mindset. Because I am and always have been a person, who pushes myself and I know that there are a lot of people out there that are the same, I have developed techniques which are very easy to learn and implement, so they can achieve more with ease and without falling into a burnout.

I work with individuals and groups. You can hire me for yourself or your managers and I will teach them the techniques which will prevent them from falling into a burnout. Also, I will work with each member individually to make sure they find their inner supporter so they keep their motivation and deliver good results.

5. What motivated you to launch a business?
In the German culture, I am a so called “freethinker”. This means that you do not go the conventional way; you allow others and yourself to be different. I always had a lot of ideas and I wanted to realise them for myself. This included doing something which makes a difference and which matters.

6. How important is it to have a business coach & what significant role in change has your coach played in your business journey?
I used to think that I can do everything by myself. I never wanted anyone to help me. I used to do research and spend hours to find the right answer, just not to admit that I did not know something. This was stupid. Accept help, you will be glad.

A coach helps you take the short cut and keeps you on track and accountable. I love working with a coach. Getting advice or another experience on some decisions which might be harder decisions is something I like. A good coach also shows you where you are and what you need to work on, not only on the business but also on yourself. In nature everything which is organised in groups has more power. It’s the same if you brainstorm and come up with ideas in groups that know what you mean and have made their own experience with.

7. How important for you is work/life balance?
This is essential to me. I love my work and I love using my brains. But I need the balance. Relaxing the brain brings me the creativity and ideas for new projects. Nature and sports are what help me get my mind of work and enjoy life from a different side. Here also I enjoy the challenge, focus and fun.

8. How do you stay motivated and what keeps you going?
I’m a person, who does not like to give up and who always has believed, that you can achieve everything, if you really want to. I suppose that entrepreneurs must be this way, otherwise they would not be where they are. Of course, there are moments or sometimes days where you are doubting yourself or you have challenges which you have no solution for – YET. When I am in such a situation I either talk to a friend or a coach or go for a ride on my mountain bike. If I do not feel motivated, I firstly relax my mind. If it is something I have been procrastinating on, I write it down and think of the things which are stopping me from doing it. I start changing my mindset and my attitude. Those things, which first seem to be insurmountable challenges, once analysed and written down become less dreadful and appear manageable and then I can start going again. Sometimes it appears that you just did not know where to start.

In the end it is my vision that keeps me going. I see that I can contribute to making the world a better place, starting with helping people finding themselves and being happy. Because I think nobody needs to suffer.
